Last weekend a team of 13 Travel Solutions volunteers headed off to County Fermanagh and the Share Discovery Village.
The team rolled up their sleeves and worked throughout the weekend cleaning and painting one of the larger chalets, ensuring it was ready for a major refit being supported by Travel Solutions and expected to be ready for the start of the summer season.
Praising the team, Travel Solutions Managing Director, Peter McMinn said: “I am so proud of our team that gave up their weekend to support Share. For over forty years this resort has welcomed our children and grand-children and helped keep our communities together during our darker times in Northern Ireland. Like many charities, their funding is getting harder to secure, and as a Northern Ireland based tour operator, I am pleased that Travel Solutions has been able to offer our help – albeit in a small way”.
Peter continued: “We look forward to building a long-term relationship with the enthusiastic and professional team at Share Discovery Village and I would encourage other companies to visit the resort and offer their support. If we can work together, the Share Discovery Village can continue to welcome our families for many years to come.”
