TAP Air Portugal are set to restart all of their US routes by October adding additional flights from Lisbon to Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco and New York’s JFK airports in September and October.

It is planned that by October, the airline will serve all nine North American gateway cities that were in operation pre-Covid-19, which includes Montreal and Toronto.

In September the Newark route is set to increase to a twice daily schedule and New York JFK will increase to a three times daily departure in October.

TAP says it has now resumed 86% of all its European destinations and American customers can connect to 35 cities across Europe. The airline has implemented the TAP Clean and Safe program, meeting the hygiene, health and sanitary guidelines of EASA and IATA.
