A new three-day festival celebrating landscape, heritage and community will launch this spring as the Sperrins Festival takes place from 20–22 March 2026 across the Sperrins Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The three day event will include a range of guided walks, culture and family activities giving participants a chance to explore the Sperrins.
The festival has been curated to promote sustainable tourism and strengthen connections between people and place, support sustainable tourism, and provide new opportunities to learn, explore, and will feature guided walks, talks, storytelling, music, crafts and a family fun day suitable for all ages.
The festival is led by the Sperrins Partnership and delivered in collaboration with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Derry City and Strabane District Council, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, and Mid Ulster District Council. It is also supported by the DAERA Environment Fund and DfC Historic Environment Division Research and Revivals Stream.
