Spain Offer Hope To Unvaxxed UK Holidaymakers

Hope has been offered to unvaccinated UK travellers as Spain's Tourism Minister Maria Reyes Maroto made a surprising revelation

Hope has been offered to unvaccinated UK travellers as Spain’s Tourism Minister Maria Reyes Maroto made a surprising revelation.

Speaking during a radio interview, Maroto hinted that travellers from outside the EU, including UK travellers, who do not hold a Covid Pass may be allowed to enter the country ‘within days.’

This statement follows shortly after Spain extended the ban on unvaccinated travellers until June 15 at the beginning of the week.

Maroto commented that, “it’s going to be a matter of days before we eliminate a restriction that could be discouraging tourists from outside the European Union from visiting us.”

Adding that, “we are going to stop demanding the Covid certificate and allow people to enter with a negative Covid test.”

If announced, this change means that unvaccinated UK travellers will need to provide a negative Covid-19 test result to gain entry into the country.
