The prestigious awards, held in La Manga Club in Spain, were a truly global gathering of the golf tourism industry with pioneers, influencers and leading figureheads from 43 nations in attendance.

Other winners included Royal Portrush which was awarded Northern Ireland’s Best Golf Course, St Andrews Links (Old Course) in Scotland was named the World’s Best Golf Course, The Golf Course at Adare Manor was named World’s Best New Golf Course and golfing legend Gary Player was voted Golf Course Designer of the Year.
