Easyjet have set out plans to become the UK’s first airline to run emission-free flights, operated by hydrogen.
Working from Cranfield Aerospace, the airline is aiming to have such work completed by 2030, which could see Easyjet become a world first for commercial emission-free flying.
Speaking on the latest plan , David Morgan, the director of flight operations at EasyJet, says:
“EasyJet remains absolutely committed to sustainable flying and a towards a future with zero-emission flying. We look forward to collaborating with Cranfield to support bringing this technology to maturity as early as possible,”
