Singapore has, today (22 April 2022) announced plans to further ease its COVID-19 travel requirements. From 26th April 2022 0001hrs (Singapore time), all fully vaccinated travellers and non-fully vaccinated children aged 12 and under arriving by land, air or sea checkpoints will no longer be required to take a pre-departure test prior to arrival in Singapore. With this move, fully vaccinated travellers can enter Singapore, quarantine-free, without the requirement for any tests (pre-departure or on-arrival).

While fully vaccinated travellers will be exempt from testing requirements, all non-fully vaccinated travellers are required to take a pre-departure test within two days before departure for Singapore, undergo a 7-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN), and take a PCR COVID-19 test at the end of their SHN period.

Michael Rodriguez, Area Director Northern & Southwestern Europe at Singapore Tourism Board commented, “Following the successful launch of the Vaccinated Travel Framework arlier this month and with the removal of pre-departure testing requirements, we are excited to welcome fully vaccinated travellers back to experience a reimagined Singapore. Our Ministry of Health has continued to monitor the local and global COVID-19 situation and has taken a measured approach to gradually easing restrictions to allow for safe travel. We have so much to share with visitors this year including the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, Singapore Food Festival and Gardens by the Bay’s 10th anniversary.”
