Silversea has successfully concluded its 2024/2025 Antarctica season. Three of the company’s ships — Silver EndeavourSilver Cloud, and Silver Wind — hosted guests on 34 voyages to the continent between October 29th, 2024, and March 31st, 2025, creating unforgettable memories for travellers by immersing them into the region’s pristine natural beauty.
“Visiting Antarctica is among the most enriching experiences and our 34-voyage 2024/2025 season delivered an unparalleled range of moments to our guests, with calls in new destinations, once-in-a-lifetime wildlife sightings, and other unforgettable activities delivered by our industry-leading Expedition Team,” said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea.
“We are now eagerly preparing to launch our new 150-room hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, which, set to be the southernmost hotel on Earth, will enhance our industry-leading polar offering by creating a uniquely seamless Antarctica Fly Cruise experience for our guests, delivered in Silversea’s uncompromised comfort.

True to the company’s spirit of innovation, having pioneered the luxury expedition concept in 2008, Silversea is developing a new hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile — the southernmost city on Earth. The 150-room facility will create an unrivalled experience for guests to explore the rugged landscape of Antarctica. Scheduled to open during the 2025/2026 Antarctica season, the hotel will facilitate a uniquely seamless journey to the continent, allowing guests to enjoy Silversea’s personalised service and warm hospitality throughout their travels.
Overlooking the Beagle Channel and surrounded by pristine forest, the hotel will feature views of the water and snow-capped Patagonian mountains. Due to its innovative architectural design, the hotel will blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment, drawing inspiration from local traditional art, architecture, and materials.
