Seven destinations have been added to UK’s Green List for travel – The Azores, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Liechtenstein, Lithuania and Switzerland while Thailand and Montenegro have been moved from Amber to Red.
The travel rules for these countries will come into effect on August 30 at 4am.
Travellers from these seven destinations will no longer have to quarantine on arrival in the UK.
The latest update to the UK’s traffic light system is the final one before the end of summer.
Thailand and Montenegro have been moved from the Amber list to the Red list.
Now only British residents and nationals will be allowed into the UK from both these countries and they will have to shell out at least £2,285 for an 11-night stay in a quarantine hotel.
