As Scenic (www.scenic.co.uk) unveils its Europe River Cruise Collection for 2023, the truly all-inclusive luxury river cruise line has launched a brand new itinerary as well as a new city stay extension. The new eight-day river cruise will take guests on a journey along the Rhine and Moselle rivers, exploring castles and vineyards. While the new five-day extension will introduce guests to Ljubljana and Zagreb for an insight into the culture, heritage and stunning landscapes of Slovenia and Croatia.

The full 2023 Europe river cruise collection is available for guests to book now at 2022 prices. Those booking before 31 January 2022 will save a guaranteed £1,400 per couple off 2022 prices, while also receiving complimentary private door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers. An additional 10 per cent Super Early Bird saving applies to guests paying for their cruise in full 12 months prior to travel.

New eight-day river cruise on the Rhine & Moselle rivers

Taking in four countries along the Rhine and Moselle rivers, the new Charming Castles & Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle river cruise will sail from Mainz to Basel and calling at Koblenz, Bernkastel, Cochem, Rudesheim, Rastatt and Breisach. Lined with castles at every turn, there is endless beauty to be discovered around each meander of the river – from natural vistas to picture-perfect villages and lush green vineyards. Guests will enjoy unforgettable experiences including a guided tour of the iconic Reichsburg Castle, wine tasting in Bernkastel and the Alsace region, a visit to medieval Chateau du Haut-Koenigsbourg and a hiking tour in Rudesheim including a cable car ride that glides over the vines for stunning views. With departures from April through to September, prices for the eight-day river cruise start from £2,495 per person (based on 22 April 2023 departure).

New five-day cruise extension in Ljubljana and Zagreb

A new five-day Ljubjana and Zagreb extension offers guests a picturesque glimpse into the natural beauty of Slovenia and Croatia. Guests will be welcomed to each city with a walking tour, travelling from the towering snow-capped mountains and sparking glacial waters of Lake Bled in Slovenia where they’ll embark on a Pletna boat ride; to the emerald green lakes and mighty waterfalls of Croatia’s Plitvice National Park. The extension can be added to Scenic’s 15-day Jewels of Europe, eight-day Gems of the Danube, nine-day Black Sea Explorer and 16-day Danube Delta Discovery river cruises. Prices for the eight-day Gems of the Danube with Ljubljana and Zagreb start from £3,400 per person departing 26 April 2023.
