The cancellations apply to both Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises.
UK MD Colin Downing said: “Our commitment to the health, well-being, and safety of our guests and our employees remains at the core of everything we do. Due to the ongoing global situation and government restrictions it is impossible for us to operate our scheduled departures up to 30 June 2020.
“Please be assured we are here to support our valued agent partners and guests during this challenging time. When this crisis is over and the travel industry begins to recover, we look forward to exploring our precious world with our guests again.”
Scenic is trying to encourage customers to rebook by offering 110% Future Travel Credit for its cruises and 100% Future Travel Credit for its land tours, both valid up to December 31, 2022. These can be transferred to another passenger or cashed in if not used by the expiry date.
Scenic has also introduced a flexible amendment policy for clients with cruises booked from July 1 to December 31, 2020. Full details of its cancellation and re-booking policies are available on the Scenic and Emerald websites.
