Cruising along the Rhine and Moselle rivers, guests will sail between Amsterdam and Basel, with Aled joining on day two. Following a special Gala Dinner, the delights continue into the evening, as legendary Welsh singer Aled Jones hosts a ‘Meet and Greet’ session in the panoramic True North Lounge.
On day three, guests will arrive in Cologne and be met by the magnificent Cologne Cathedral on the bank of the Rhine, before heading on to a guided tour. After which, a true highlight awaits in an intimate church setting, as Aled performs a private 60-minute concert exclusively for APT guests.
Aled Jones MBE commented on joining the cruise, he said: “I am delighted to be joining the new APT ‘Legends of the Rhine ad Moselle’ cruise aboard the new contemporary Travelmarvel Capella river ship in spring 2021. The relaxed pace of river cruising gives me the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak up the delightful on-board atmosphere. I will be dining and enjoying a chat with all the guests and whilst in Cologne I will be taking to the stage to perform an exclusive classical concert for the APT guests.”
The cruise sails from the Rhine on to the Moselle River, giving guests the chance to soak up the scenery on one of Europe’s prettiest stretches. Explore the narrow alleyways of Cochem and visit the magnificent Cochem Castle, before heading back to the Travelmarvel Capella to join Aled for dinner. After a delicious meal, guests will have the opportunity to take photos in the lounge, where Aled will be signing his new album for all APT guests.
