Ryanair has revealed the top destinations that Irish passengers are travelling to this Christmas. Ryanair will operate almost 50,000 flights across its network of 235+ destinations throughout the festive season, bringing passengers home to see family and friends in time for Christmas.
Poland: Poland is proving a popular Christmas 2024 destination among Irish passengers with many Polish diaspora returning to see family/friends as well as Irish passengers flocking to explore Poland’s renowned Christmas market offering and charming ski resorts.
Tenerife: The Spanish islands are always a popular Christmas destination among Irish passengers seeking to swap white snow for white sand beaches. Tenerife is the perfect Winter sun destination with its charming seaside villages, stunning coves, colonial towns, a rainforest, and breath-taking ravines.
UK: It’s no surprise that the UK made the list, with many Irish passenger travelling the short trip over the Irish sea to visit family and friends during the festive holiday season, and why not when Ryanair operates so many regular services across the length and breadth of the country, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Cornwall, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, and Newcastle.
