The Pride 365 seal recognises Royal Caribbean as an organisation publicly committed to being an active year-round supporter of the LGBT+ community, treating their LGBT+ employees, guests and crew members with dignity and respect and having workplaces that are committed to real inclusion.

As part of the assessment process, Royal Caribbean has pledged to actively play a part in continuously driving greater inclusion in the workplace and in the communities they serve. Going beyond inclusion, Royal Caribbean’s aim is to establish the conditions and drive the behaviours that create equity for the LGBT+ community. Royal Caribbean’s ships sail all over the world and the brand prides itself on offering fun-filled and innovative experiences that create lifelong memories for guests of all ages, gender and sexual orientation.

Ben Bouldin, Vice President EMEA, Royal Caribbean International commented “As a holiday provider, our aim is to put a smile on our guests’ faces 365 days a year. We believe that our differences make us stronger and that happy employees make for happy guests and happiness comes from the freedom to inexplicably be true to oneself, both in the workplace and on holiday. We are committed to cultivating a trusting environment where all ideas are welcomed and where employees feel comfortable and empowered to have meaningful discussions — a place where they know they belong.”

Jack Mizel, CEO at Pride 365 added that “We welcome Royal Caribbean International and congratulate the cruise line for their achievements to date working to advance inclusion in the workplace. From initial conversations, it was abundantly clear that Royal Caribbean International is truly dedicated to creating a working environment where diversity of talent and thought are both welcomed and positively encouraged.”
