Qantas Back in Delhi After Decade Long Hiatus

Qantas has added Delhi back onto it's route map after a decade's hiatus

India is back on the Qantas route map after the first Australia-India service in almost a decade landed in Delhi.

The airline is now operating a Sydeny-Delhi and Melbourne-Delhi service – both have been the fastest selling routes on the carrier’s international network.

Qantas’ Domestic and International CEO Andrew David said the airline were “thrilled to be beginning commercial flights to India for the first mite in almost a decade”.

“There was an incredible response when we announced both our new routes to Delhi. Forward booking for the next few months are well ahead of our initial forecasts,” he added.
