Severe air turbulence has landed 11 passengers and crew in hospital.
A flight operated by Delta Air Lines suffered heavy turbulence just minutes before reaching its destination.
The flight, which departed Milan was carrying 151 passengers and 14 crew members, was headed for Atlanta.
In a statement, Delta said: “Our priority is taking care of customers and crew who sustained injuries. We are grateful for the first responders.”
