Norway have announced that they are opening their borders to international travellers for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

A positive announcement for the Norwegian Travel Industry, travellers from outside the European Union are now able to visit Norway without being required to complete a 10-day quarantine.

However, travellers will still be required to test and register upon their arrival into Norway.

While those who arrive without covid certification, proof of full vaccination or adequate proof of full immunity will be required to present a negative test result taken prior to their arrival in Norway.

Acting director for Visit Norway, Audun Pettersen stated “We have waited so long for this day to come, and we have really missed our visitors from around the world. Finally, people can start to plan their travel to Norway again. This means so much to the entire industry.”
