Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay to Reopen Just in Time for Summer

The Balearic Island’s free-spirited, five-star haven, Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is back earlier than ever for 2023

The Balearic Island’s free-spirited, five-star haven, Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is back earlier than ever for 2023, inviting guests into a playground of discovery, taste and self-love on the south of the island. On 31 March, the long-awaited season kicks off with the much-anticipated opening night of the Nobu Lounge and a series of unique workshops, tastings, events and Eivissan Easter celebrations, followed by a summer filled with new and authentic Ibizan experiences.

Nuno Dias, Director of Sales and Marketing at NOBU Hotel Ibiza Bay says:

“We are very optimistic for the summer season ahead, with business on the books above the same time last year. June is looking particularly strong, led by higher ADR and occupancy on the books of over 50% already. While repeat guests tend to book with longer lead times, especially those who travel with the family in July and August, traditional booking patterns have been disrupted by last-minute solid demand experienced over the previous few years.

European markets represent over 50% of our business mix – the UK is leading with a 25% share of the total business. However, in June and July, the US is our number one market, and we are seeing incremental market share coming from other key markets like Brazil, Israel, and the Middle East. We continue to innovate our proposition and look forward to welcoming back our guests from 31 March to enjoy the true spirit of the South of Ibiza with an excellent curated lineup of events.”

A season of unforgettable gastronomy

No stay at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay is complete without making the most of their renowned onsite gastro offering. Enjoy a visit to the world renowned Nobu Restaurant – where Nobu’s signature Japanese fusion cuisine is perfectly balanced with traditional Balearic products and delicacies. From gambas al ajillo Nobu style, a local dish with prawns caught off the coast of Formentera, to the nigiri with red mullet or the blue Formentera lobster, the menu is filled with local specialties with a Nobu twist. For an extra special evening, spectacular seven course, four hands dinners with Nobu guest chefs will run throughout the season.

For families, Ibiza Bay’s chiringuito Chambao epitomises the relaxed, stylish and laid-back feeling of the best of Ibiza by the seay. Home to freshly caught seafood and Balearic favourites – like artichokes alla brace with idiabazal cheese and summer truffle slices or Formentera pasta – it’s an uncomplicated choice for chilled-out afternoon gatherings. Chambao is also ideally located right next to the kids club, with live music playing at weekends.

Joining Nobu and Chambao, an exciting new pop-up from a multi-Michelin starred chef will be announced closer to the season.

At Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay, guests can while away the day basking in the ever-changing moods and colours of the bay, drifting from pool to lounger to the soundtrack of waves lapping on the shore and Balearic beats. The hotel’s idyllic location in Talamanca Bay, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle and with access to Formentera, allows guests to slow down to a new pace and to prioritise their wellbeing – all within easy reach of the White Isle’s renowned nightlife. That’s the beauty of the spirit of the south of the island.
