In announcing the new destination, Operations Director, Julie Magill, commented: “Travel Solutions have a very successful and established winter ski programme into the Balkans, and we were aware that our existing customers and prospective customers where looking for new ideas.”
She continued: “Sierra Nevada offers a great holiday experience to skiers of all levels, offering expansive skiing on high mountain runs. Add great nightlife based around Pradollano; the village at the heart of the ski scene, and you have the perfect mix for a great ski holiday. At a height of over three thousand metres, the season operates from mid-November through to early May.”
Reinforcing their commitment to the winter ski market, Travel Solutions Managing Director, Peter McMinn, explained: “Whilst the Balkans continue to be very popular with Northern Ireland skiers, we decided to look for new destinations. Over the past year our team have been visiting different resorts, speaking with accommodation and ski service companies and looking at how best we can continue to offer great value.
“Today we introduce Sierra Nevada, and there will be more new destinations to follow!”
