MSC Cruises’ new mega ship MSC Virtuosa will move to Southampton to operate UK domestic sailings this summer.
The new MSC flagship replaces MSC Magnifica to operate British Isles short break and week-long cruises from late May.
It will have limited capacity but the ship can accommodate up to 6,000 under normal sailing conditions.
Reservations open for UK residents later this week.
Antonio Paradiso, Managing Director, MSC Cruises UK & Ireland said: “Following our recent announcement that we intend to offer cruises in the UK we have been overwhelmed by the response from MSC Cruises customers.
“I am personally very proud to be able to bring our newest ship MSC Virtuosa to the UK so that British guests are the first to officially come on board.”
