Most British Travellers Support Airport Drinking Limits

Nearly 62% of Britons support a two-drink limit at airport bars, according to a recent survey by YouGov

Nearly 62% of Britons support a two-drink limit at airport bars, according to a recent survey by YouGov.

This comes after Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary’s remarks urging restrictions on pre-flight drinking.

O’Leary emphasized that flight delays contribute to excessive drinking by allowing passengers more time to consume alcohol before boarding.

Last year, a YouGov global survey revealed that 75% of respondents considered drunkenness unacceptable behavior on airlines.

YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group, conducted the two-drink limit survey on August 28, polling 6,771 British adults.
