Montenegro Hitting the Tourist Heights with New Resort Opening

The 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale had the travel world buzzing about Montenegro, a hitherto little known European tourist destination

The film not only shot Daniel Craig to fame, the acclaimed Bond adventure also raised the awareness of Montenegro to millions of people all over the world. It crafted an image of breathtaking landscapes dotted with medieval castles, dramatic mountain ranges and luxurious resorts.

Now Montenegro’s hottest new resort, Portonovi, has released new computer generated images highlighting how the new development will look ahead of the launch this Summer 2019.

Portonovi is set to deliver a 64-acre haven of exclusivity with Europe’s first ever One&Only Hotel, over 1.8kms of beachfront access, along with a village of 214 luxury residential properties, high-end boutiques, world-class restaurants, and a deep water marina operated by D-Marin. D-Marin Portonovi Marina will play host to yachts up to 120 metres wishing to explore the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Dalmatian coasts.

Montenegro is bursting at the seams with majestic mountains, breathtaking beaches and larger-than-life locals, proving once and for all that good things do indeed come in small packages.

With incredible scenery, 300kms of beachfront, UNESCO World Heritage towns, wineries, mountains, snow, sand and sea, the country truly operates as a year-round destination.
