Mini Apartment New Concept on Long Haul Carrier

Singapore Airlines' first class passengers will be able to travel in a mini-apartment from next month

The carrier’s latest first class concept has been unveiled and is designed to rival that offered by Etihad, with a full-size bed in each of six cabins that will feature on refitted Airbus A380s.

The suite will debut on the Singapore-Sydney route from December 18, but is not expected to appear on London flights until later in 2018.

A novel feature will be a removable wall in four of the six suites, allowing two passengers in adjacent cabins to join their beds together. All cabins also have a leather armchair, 32-inch TV and electronic roller blinds; however, the two bathrooms are shared between passengers.
