Virgin Australia have shocked passengers on a flight by giving free cruise tickets to flyers sitting in every middle seat after it was branded the worst seat on a plane.
It’s part of the airline’s new ‘Bring on Wonderful’ campaign to reward middle seat travellers each week with hundreds of prizes on offer amounting to $230,000.
Middle seat passengers on flights will be entered into a weekly lotto with prizes such as premium flights to exotic destinations, cruises, helicopter flights and AFL Grand Final tickets.
Virgin Voyages launches in Australia around the beginning of summer next year for a limited time only, ending March 2024.
The company’s main ship, The Resilient Lady, will be based in Melbourne and take passengers to destinations across the country.
Cruises will last from two to 14 nights.
