Hays Travel has announced today that the sixth and final winner of The Big Hays Travel Thank You for 2022 is Andrea McBurney from Hays Travel Abbey Centre, Belfast.
Andrea is now the proud owner of a brand-new car which was presented by Dame Irene Hays outside Hays Travel head office in Sunderland this morning.
Andrea, who travelled over to Sunderland from Northern Ireland to claim her prize was thrilled to be the winner, she said, “I am completely delighted. I can’t believe I have actually won a brand-new car. It is so exciting to be able to drive it home today.”
Hays Travel began The Big Hays Travel Thank You in July to recognise and reward staff over the course of six months of fantastic prizes.
Since July, Hays Travel has given away two brand new cars, a cruise, a trip to New York, and an Apple Bundle.
In October, in the wake of the cost-of-living crisis, it was announced that two winners would have their household bills paid by Hays Travel until March 2023.
Dame Irene Hays said, “We have had so much fun over the last six months with this initiative. The aim was to recognise and reward our colleagues while bringing a sense of excitement and fun. I am delighted to announce that the Big Hays Travel Thank You will be back next summer with another set of amazing prizes.”
Although the Big Hays Travel Thank You may be coming to an end for 2022, The Big Hays Travel Festive Thank You will continue with three more prizes still to be won.
So far this month, Hays Travel colleagues have won food hampers, shopping vouchers and family days out and the festive fun will continue right up until Christmas.
