As the digital version of the June 2020 edition goes live – available across all our digital platforms now – we would like to take this opportunity to remind all our readers that we will continue to maintain a steady presence throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
As Northern Ireland slowly begins to lift its restrictions we have also published a brand new local tourism magazine – The Local Tourist – to help give you some fun inspiration on things you can do across the island of Ireland until you can jet off to the sun.
The team at Northern Ireland Travel News will continue to bring you the latest news and updates to keep you well-informed with accurate up-to-date information as well as some fun blog posts to keep you inspired for future travels.
We remain committed to supporting the travel and tourism industry across our digital channels during this tough time. Our April/May edition was produced at the height of the global lockdown and gave tourist boards, tour operators, airlines, hotels and travel agencies a much-needed platform, guiding the public and travel trade through the stormy seas of scaremongering false information and click-bait stories by providing accurate and factual information that you can rely upon.
The June edition of the Province’s favourite travel newspaper has just gone live. Due to the current Government restrictions, we felt that it is only right to publish this edition digitally only. This is only a temporary measure and we look forward to resuming the print edition as soon as possible.
The latest edition is now also available on our brand new mobile viewing platform now and is accessible via all mobile devices.
With seventy per cent of all our online traffic coming from mobiles it only made sense to make the digital edition more mobile-user friendly.
The newspaper articles are broken down into reader-friendly bitesize chunks, making for a quick and smooth read enhanced by a host of interactive facilities such as direct URL links and imbedded videos.
The new mobile developments have been designed to compliment and enhance our current digital portfolio.
We are getting there. When we have mountains to face and obstacles to overcome, we do it together! We’ve been closed in, locked down and kept from seeing the people we love… But it hasn’t been for nothing, and it won’t be forever!
