Presented by Dr Pepper, Music City’s Let Freedom Sing! celebrations will feature multi-platinum chart-topper Brett Eldredge as the headliner on Lower Broadway’s main stage. Eldredge will be accompanied by an all Nashville-based, diverse lineup including country CMA award-winning legend Mac McAnally and GRAMMY-nominated neo-soul/rock artist Jessy Wilson to name a few. The entertainment will kick off at midday on July 4th with DJ sets and acts galore. Produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC) the concerts are free and open to the public.

The celebrations will conclude with one of the largest firework shows on display in the United States. All eyes will be to the sky as 62,000 shells climb to create a colourful display and in true Nashville fashion, music will play an integral role. The GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony will set the score with an original medley of songs, performed live at the Ascend Amphitheater and perfectly choreographed to the fireworks spectacular.

In a new partnership, Country Music Television (CMT) channel will air a 90-minute live special on July 4th that will include performances from headliner Brett Eldredge, highlights from Let Freedom Sing! and the acclaimed fireworks show. Ronnie Smith, Chair of the NCVC Board of Directors commented, “The CMT broadcast will provide yet another opportunity showcase this stellar celebration and our great live music to a national audience”.

Also set to perform at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, to ‘Kick Off’ the weekend on July 3rd, Alejandra Aranda will headline for crowds ahead of the US soccer Gold Cup Semifinal, held at the Nissan Stadium.
