Leading Family Attraction Launching Three New Attractions this Summer

ROARR! dinosaur-themed adventure Park has announced the launch of four brand new attractions

ROARR! dinosaur-themed adventure Park has announced the launch of four brand new attractions in the run-up to the creation of its highly anticipated Gigantosaurus Land.

The new attractions include two new rides and an all-new live theatre show as well as exclusive screenings of hit animation Gigantosaurus (as seen on Netflix, Tiny Pop and Disney+). Next year, the Park will also be adding a Gigantosaurus-themed track ride to whet visitors’ appetites ahead of the creation of a fully themed Gigantosaurus Land anticipated to open in 2026.

The new 2023 rides and shows have been selected to broaden the appeal of the Park to encompass children aged up to age ten, in line with the Park’s evolving strategy to offer the best value day out for families.

Adam Goymour, Park Director, said

“We are thrilled to be able to offer three amazing new attractions this year as we prepare for Gigantosaurus Land which we are now looking to open in 2026. This change in our attractions timeline has been taken with our guest experience in mind and will provide a fun and exciting experience for guests of all ages over the coming months. The launch of four new attractions comes at a time when many families are looking for affordable and fun ways to spend their summer holidays. The increase in rides which will appeal to older children will certainly benefit all families considering a visit.

“We understand that times are tough for many families right now, and we want to make sure that ROARR! remains an accessible and affordable destination for everyone. We’ve invested over half a million pounds in these new attractions to support the development of tourism in the region, bearing the costs internally to enable us to keep the price static and under £20 with children under 80cm entering free of charge.”

Goymour continues:

“We are constantly reevaluating long-term project plans to ensure we offer our guests the best product possible, and continue to develop the business responsibly. The decision has therefore been taken to postpone the full creation of Giganotosaurus Land for a short amount of time.

“We are excited to still have a Gigantosaurus themed ride coming in 2024 within the existing space used at ROARR! and look forward to further investing in the land in the future. We need to make sure that any investment is prudent and keeps us on a sound financial footing whilst avoiding price increases for visitors at a time when many families are facing increased economic pressure.

“As a family-run business many of our team have worked at the Park for over 18 years, so are practically part of the family. Our mission is of course to make sure any changes we make will prioritise both the guests and the team.”

Mr Goymour concludes:

“We know how valuable parks like ROARR! are for encouraging families to spend precious time together. The Park has always provided a backdrop for adventurous fun and play, and we will continue to bring ROARR-some experiences to our many fans and guests, offering a great value day out all year round.”
