Lawsuit After Teen Died Because Defibrillator Wasn’t Charged

A teen died onboard a flight from Honduras to Miami after it was discovered that the onboard defibrillator had not been charged

A lawsuit has been filed against American Airlines following the death of a teen on a flight last year.

Kevin Greenidge died on a flight from Honduras to Miami after going into cardiac arrest.

The lawsuit claims that the onboard defibrillator could not be used as the power pack had not been charged.

Under federal law airlines are required to have medical equipment like defibrillators on each flight and flight attendants receive training to use all equipment.
