Kid’s Letter to Qantas CEO Goes Viral

A letter written by a 10-year-old boy to Qantas CEO Alan Joyce for advice on launching an airline has gone viral after it was tweeted by the carrier

Alex Jacquot from Australia wrote: “Please take me seriously” in his letter in which he asked for tips to get his carrier, ‘Oceana Express’, off the ground.

Now Joyce has offered to meet the young would-be entrepreneur to ‘compare notes’.

Alex told the Qantas CEO had had already started work in several areas, including type of aircraft he’ll need, flight numbers and catering.

But he wrote: “Seeing as it is the school holidays, I have more time to work. But I don’t have anything to do (that I can think of). Do you have any ideas of what I can do?” he wrote in the letter.

“Seeing as you are the CEO of Qantas I thought I’d ask you.”
