Kids go Free at Belfast Zoo’s Award-Winning Halloween Event!

Belfast Zoo's award-winning Halloween event returns on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October with free admission for children (terms and conditions apply)

Belfast Zoo’s ‘Boo at the Zoo’ event recently won ‘Best Family Event’ at the Primary Times Star Awards. This success was followed by the award for ‘Best Event at an Attraction’ at the Day out with the Kids Family Favourites Awards. Both awards were nominated and voted for by members of the public based on their own experiences.

Visitors to Boo at the Zoo this year can experience a weekend of fiendish fun for all the family with a range of activities including:

Meet the zoo’s mini monsters
Petrifying pumpkin decorating
Freaky face painting
Creepy keeper talks
Spooky slime sessions
Creepy crafts and games
Terrifying touch tables
Trick or treat feeding times for the animals

Children aged 4-16 in full fancy dress receive free admission (terms and conditions apply), under 4’s go free and normal admission applies to all other visitors. All advertised activities are included in the admission price.

Dust off your cobwebs and jump on your broomstick to the zoo’s unmissable Halloween event. You’ll be in for a fright if you miss it! The zoo is open from 10am until 4pm, with last admission at 2.30pm.
