The British Travel Awards recognise the travel companies that provide the best customer service and product offering, whilst delivering the best holidays across various categories.

At a special event in London hosted by ITV This Morning’s Alison Hammond, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays were recognised on no fewer than seven occasions. The accolades include Best Travel Company for Southern Europe/Canaries, with Jet2CityBreaks also scooping the award for Best Travel Company for City/Short Breaks.

This continues Jet2.com and Jet2holidays track record of winning prestigious accolades, with the companies recently winning Which? Travel Brand of the Year.

The complete list of awards won by the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator to many destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands at last night’s British Travel Awards are:

  • Best Travel Company for Southern Europe/Canaries – winner
  • Best Travel Company for City/Short Breaks – winner
  • Best Travel Company for Hellenic Europe – silver accreditation
  • Best Travel Company for Summer Sun holidays – silver accreditation
  • Best Travel Company for Winter Sun holidays – silver accreditation
  • Best Travel Company for Luxury holidays – silver accreditation
  • Best Travel Company for Villa holidays – silver accreditation

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays received numerous accolades for their handling of the pandemic, including the way they provided smooth and speedy refunds to customers whose travel plans were affected. Following the reopening of international travel, the companies did not cancel any flights or holidays due to their own staff shortages, despite operating their busiest ever Summer programme in 2022.
