The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office has confirmed it no longer advises against all travel to Israel and Palestine. However, advice against all travel to Gaza, parts of the West Bank and parts of northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights still remains. FCDO has confirmed it still advises against all but essential travel to other parts of the West Bank.
The FCDO is also no longer advising against all but essential travel to Jordan but continues to advise against all travel within 3km of the border with Syria.
This comes as a welcomed step, elevating air travel and connectivity to these regions and into Asia.
