Irish Taoiseach Micheal Martin has confirmed that passengers planning on travelling to the Republic of Ireland will no longer need a negative covid test.
Previously, arrivals were required to undertake a pre-departure PCR or antigen test to enter into Ireland- This has now been scrapped and is expected to be introduced in coming days.
Those travelling into Northern Ireland at the moment still require a negative covid-19 test result.
England is also expected to follow similar guidance surrounding travel testing.
