InterContinental Dublin was awarded the Gold Medal Award as “Ireland’s Five Star Hotel” at the Hotel & Catering Review’s Gold Medal Awards held in The Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny this week.

The Gold Medal Awards, now in their 31st year, are regarded as leaders in recognising the Irish hospitality industry throughout the country.

The Hotel, one of Dublin’s most luxurious five-star hotels, is situated in leafy Ballsbridge, and has won many accolades over the years.

With 208 luxurious bedrooms, InterContinental Dublin boasts 50 Suites which have recently been refurbished, all with lavish bedrooms and separate, splendid lounge areas enhanced with exceptional views of the Irish coastline and Wicklow mountains. The top three Presidential-style Suites in the Hotel are named after literary legends including the largest, the James Joyce Suite.

The Hotel is also a member of Virtuoso, a leading global network of travel partners specialising in luxury and experiential travel, comprised of more than 1,700 preferred suppliers in 100 countries. InterContinental Dublin is also named as one of Condé Nast Traveller’s Top 10 Hotels in Ireland, as voted for by readers, in the annual Readers’ Choice Awards 2018.
