Icelandair Set to Launch Faroe Islands Flights

Icelandair has announced a new destination: Thorshavn in the Faroe Islands

Icelandair will operate Faroe Islands flights between five and six flights a week seasonally from May 2024 through to October 2024.

The morning flights from Keflavik Airport enable convenient connections on to Icelandair’s Europe and North America route network.

The Faroe Islands is located midway between Iceland and Scotland, and have grown in popularity as a destination known for nature and local cuisine.

It coincides with Faroese airline Atlantic Airways and Icelandair signing a Letter of Intent on cooperation.

The two carriers will explore cooperation opportunities for connections between Faroe Islands flights and Icelandair destinations in Europe and North America.
