Playa Soleil, Ibiza’s latest Beach Bar, restaurant, and club, unveils a series of music residencies for summer 2023. The intimate oasis, nestled in the heart of Platja d’en Bossa, brings together first-class gastronomy and top international DJs, in a relaxed and atmospheric setting on the edge of the Mediterranean.
Playa Soleil is a brand new immersive beach experience that has perfected the art of relaxation with a carefully curated mix of contemporary art, music, gastronomy and wellness. This stylish new beach bar, restaurant and club offers the perfect place to dance the weekend away under the sun, the moon and the stars. The bohemian sanctuary draws on Ibiza’s rich history as a place of escape and liberation and invites guests to indulge in the finer things and soak up the island’s spiritual energy and natural beauty, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and Ibiza’s sun-drenched coastline. Every detail has been meticulously taken care of, from the rustic design to the personalized service.
The musical programming is led by two flagship events – Rumors on Fridays and Palmarama on Sundays – showcasing a lineup of world-renowned international DJs, special guests, and exceptional talent. Beyond these occasions, guests can also enjoy a carefully-curated soundscape from an array of DJs, artists and performers. The soundtrack will come alive within Le Restaurant, the venue’s sheltered terrace section, with Maison Musique, the indoor club space, reserved exclusively for special night events as the island’s beautiful souls unite to celebrate and dance under the sun and stars. SANDIA
Tuesdays | 4 July – 26 September
The Melon Bomb crew will be bringing the freshest house and disco to Playa Soleil every Tuesday through the summer at their brand new residency SANDIA. Enjoy dinner or cocktails by the sea from 6pm ‘til close.
ALL I NEED
Wednesdays | 5 July – 27 September
Swiss DJ and Ibiza favourite Andrea Oliva and guests take over Wednesdays, with All I Need. Guests can enjoy a tastefully crafted brunch menu (served from 2pm to 5pm) and stunning sea views, perfectly soundtracked by laid-back beats. From 6pm, the BPM increases in Le Restaurant (Playa Soleil’s restaurant terrace) and music becomes the main focus at this special weekly event.
RUMORS
Fridays | 30 June – 29 September
RUMORS has always been one of Ibiza’s most cultured parties and this summer it finds a new spiritual home at Playa Soleil. Guy Gerber’s world-renowned party will host electronic music’s most exciting artists in a truly Balearic setting from 6pm each week. The production will be sophisticated, while the views out to the breath-taking Mediterranean sea will allow for spine-tingling moments as the sun sets and beautiful souls unite to celebrate and dance under the sun and stars.
CALYPSO
Saturdays | 8 July – 30 September
Prepare to be mesmerized by the soundscape of elegant rhythms, curated by long time music digger and fire igniter Jaime Fiorito. The enigmatic selector brings a night of Latin and electronic grooves to Playa Soleil from 6pm ‘til close every Saturday night. Guests will be transported into the dimension of Calypso, a space where time has no boundaries.
PALMARAMA
Sundays | 2 July – 1 October
Palmarama is a unique concept fusing organic elements with nature, and featuring different headline DJs for each event. Guests will be taken on a sonic journey of discovery every Sunday, as Palmarama takes over Le Restaurant, Playa Soleil’s sheltered terrace area, with its stunning views across the Mediterranean. As day turns to night, Palmarama’s very own carry on Slave to the Rave will continue the celebration.
Alongside the music, Playa Soleil will be serving up an out-of-this-world gastronomical experience, led by Executive Chef Cristhian Castañeda. With more than 10 years of experience in the sector, he has worked in some of the best restaurants in Spain, including several Michelin Guide restaurants. Playa Soleil will also offer a range of wellness activities, designed to leave you feeling calm, grounded and more connected with your mind, body and nature.
