Ibiza’s legendary nightclubs will not be ready to open this summer due to restrictions surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.
The Balearic Islands government has told clubs and other late-night venues in Ibiza and neighbouring Majorca that they will not be allowed to reopen until 2021 “at the earliest”, according to reports in the local media.
Officials in the Spanish region have suggested to clubs that they may not be allowed to reopen until a vaccine for Covid-19 has been found.
