Hong Kong Airport Resumes Transit Flights

Hong Kong Airport will allow transit traffic to resume through the airport starting beginning June

Restrictions on transit flights will be lifted at Hong Kong Airport on June 1, allowing passengers to transit through one of Asia’s busiest hubs.

Entry into Hong Kong is still banned for non-residents.

Hong Kong has had no new Covid-19 cases for more than a week and has announced the easing of some restrictions.

From May 29 some entertainment venues will be allowed to reopen.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said: “The epidemic has eased. We are resuming daily activities in society and economy step by step.”

Singapore Changi Airport is also allowing easing restrictions and allowing transit passenger flights again from June 2.
