The Greek Government have announced that vaccinated international travellers will no longer be required to fill out a passenger locator form.

Greek Tourism Minister, Vassilis Kikilias announced that these changes would come into effect from March 15.

Currently, vaccinated international arrivals are required to fill in the online form at least 48 hours prior to their arrival in Greece. With the form requiring arrivals to fill in their recent travel history along with details of their stay in Greece.

Speaking of the removal of passenger locator forms, Kikilias stated that “The abolition of the PLF simplifies the entry process for travellers, shifting the emphasis on the vaccination certificates.”

Further commenting that, “In addition, the adoption of new health protocols for tourism companies, places Greece ahead of the competition. Once again, we are ready to welcome our guests safely.”
