Great Value Solo River Cruise Offer for November Bookings

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has launched a great-value solo offer on board its 156-guest river cruise ship, Brabant, for 2018

The cruise line’s solo guests can enjoy a twin room all to themselves with a reduced sole-occupancy supplement of just 25 per cent.

All guests need to do to take advantage of this fantastic solo deal is to book their twin room on one of Fred. Olsen’s six selected European river cruises by November 30, 2017 inclusive.

Fred. Olsen will be operating its inaugural river cruise programme on Brabant from April 3 to 5 November 2018, taking in some of Europe’s most beautiful rivers, including the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle – on a total of 31 departures in 2018, on durations ranging from five to 25 nights, complemented by a selection of high-quality shore excursions designed to enhance guests’ experience of the destination.

Fred. Olsen river cruise guests can choose to wander along the peaceful canals of the Petite France quarter in Strasbourg, take a trip from Koblenz to explore the mighty Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, from where they can take a cable car ride over the Rhine, or perhaps cruise past the Hassberge Mountains, decorated with rural castles, noble palaces and charming towns.

Fred. Olsen’s tempting new solo offer applies to the following six itineraries. They are Five Night Springtime Discovery ex-London Heathrow on April 5, 2018; Seven Night Cruising the Rhine, Main and Moselle, ex Heathrow, on April 20, 2018; Seven Night Scenic Gems of the German Landscape, ex-Heathrow on June 21, 2018; Seven Night Exploring the Scenic Moselle Valley ex-Heathrow on July 5, 2018; Seven Night Scenic Gems of the German Landscape, ex-Heathrow on July 19, 2018; and Seven Nights Delights of the Moselle Valley, ex Heathrow, on August 9, 2018.

Built in 2006, 110-metre-long Brabant is a stylish and comfortable river cruise  ship, and has everything that guests will need to make their holiday a memorable one: from bright and spacious public areas, to well-equipped bedrooms and ample deck space, from which to enjoy the superb views. With just four decks – Haydn Deck 1, Strauss Deck 2, Mozart Deck 3 and Sun Deck 4 – and fewer than 80 rooms and suites, staffed by 40 crew members, Brabant has the intimate and friendly feel that Fred. Olsen’s guests know and love.

Brabant’s classic design is smaller than many river ships, so guests will enjoy the usual hallmarks of Fred. Olsen’s ‘closer’ approach to cruising. In keeping with Fred. Olsen’s ocean-going fleet, this smaller-scaled vessel has the style, atmosphere and elegance of a country house hotel.
