Gibraltar Removes Travel Restrictions

Gibraltar Tourist Board has confirmed that from 18th March, testing will no longer be required for those entering Gibraltar via Gibraltar International Airport or via Gibraltar Port

Gibraltar Tourist Board has confirmed that from 18th March, testing will no longer be required for those entering Gibraltar via Gibraltar International Airport or via Gibraltar Port.

Furthermore, travellers landing at Gibraltar International Airport will no longer be required to submit a Passenger Locator Form from the same date.

On Friday 4th March, general requirements to wear masks were removed, and are now only required in the GHA (Gibraltar Health Authority), elderly residential services and other medical and health service settings (including private providers).

Minister for Business, Tourism and the Port, the Hon Vijay Daryanani MP, said: “Gibraltar’s safety has always been an important factor for our visitors, and now more than ever it is important that our visitors feel safe and secure.  We are pleased to make it even easier for UK travellers to explore Gibraltar and the elimination of airport testing and the Passenger Locator Form ensures visitors can travel seamlessly and with ease.

“We saw strong visitor numbers throughout 2021, and we believe these new measures will boost these numbers further during 2022.”
