Further Cruise Ship Suspension

Norwegian, Oceania, Regent, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara, Silversea, MSC, CMV, Scenic, AmaWaterways, Disney, Costa and Fred.Olsen all confirm suspensions

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is amongst of cruise operators to this morning announce a voluntary suspension of all cruise voyages, with Norwegian, Oceania and Regent Seven Seas cruises to cease embarkations between 13 March and 11 April 2020.

Royal Caribbean Cruises has also suspended cruising for the next 30 days, but only for voyages on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Azamara and Silversea vessels departing from US ports. International cruises across the RCL brands will operate their scheduled itineraries.

MSC cruises, which had already halted operations in the Mediterranan, Asia and the Middle East, will temporarily cease US cruises until 30 April, while MSC ships currently in South America and South Africa will also top cruising at the end of their current itineraries.

CMV has confirmed the temporary suspension of all worldwide cruise operations for voyages departing from today, until 24 April.

APT’s partner AmaWaterways has cancelled all of its Europe river cruises ntil 25 April, while Scenic will temporarily suspend all river cruise operations until 30 April.

Disney Cruise Line has suspended all cruises departing on or after 14 March until the end of the month, while Costa is globally ceasing its ship operations for voyages until 03 April and Fred.Olsen cruises will cease sailing until mid-May.
