Four New Spring Getaways Take Guests to Holy Land, Arabia and Italy

Crystal Cruises has unveiled four new 2018 Crystal Getaways – shortened segments of its 20-day 'Sands of Time' sailing from Dubai to Rome aboard Crystal Serenity

Offering travellers culture-rich experiences in some of the most fascinating destinations and sites throughout Israel, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Italy, the new itineraries also cater to busy travel calendars, ranging from three to 10 nights.

The new Crystal Getaways include:

  • April 26: 10-night Arabian Gems – Dubai (overnight) and Fujairah, UAE; Salalah, Oman; and Petra (Aqaba), Jordan (overnight). Guests can explore the modern marvels of Dubai, including the world’s tallest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa, visit the Rose City of Petra and the ancient ruins of Sumhuram, also cruise the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
  • May 6: 10-night Havens of Antiquity & Holy Sites – Petra (Aqaba) (overnight); Eilat (overnight) and Jerusalem/Tel Aviv (Ashdod), Israel (overnight); Sorrento and Rome, Italy (overnight). The voyage also offers trips to Petra and Wadi Rum, as well as the resort town of Eilat and Ashdod, gateway to the sacred sites in Jerusalem and vibrant Tel Aviv. Then, the itinerary continues to the Italian coastline and Rome’s artistic masterpieces.
  • May 7: three-night Panoramic Israel – Eilat and Jerusalem/Tel Aviv (Ashdod) (overnight). Starting in Eilat, guests can transit the Suez Canal en route to Ashdod, where they can explore Jerusalem’s wonders and the White City of Tel Aviv.
  • May 10: six-night Mediterranean Masterpieces – Jerusalem/Tel Aviv (Ashdod) (overnight); Sorrento, Rome (overnight). From Israel’s sacred sites to Rome’s Colosseum, Pantheon and Sistine Chapel, guests will also visit the beautiful Sorrento coast in between.

Cruise only fares for Crystal Serenity’s new Getaways start from £1,347 per person for the three-night Panoramic Israel cruise departing May 7.
