Travellers planning a trip to Doncaster can do so from June 15, until October 26 2018, with flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Flybe Interim Chief Commercial Officer Ronnie Matheson said: “We are pleased to announce an expansion to our 2018 Summer schedule from Belfast City. The brand new route to Doncaster offers a flexible schedule ideal for those who want to make a short business trip or a longer break to really see what Doncaster has to offer.
“Just 5km from Doncaster and less than 30km from East Sheffield this new destination offers a convenient gateway into Yorkshire.”
Ellie McGimpsey, Aviation Development Manager at Belfast City Airport, said: “At Belfast City Airport we are always keen to further expand our growing route network and we’re delighted that our passengers can avail of direct access to Doncaster, Sheffield, and the surrounding South Yorkshire area.
“Our close proximity to Belfast city centre saw Belfast City Airport named ‘the Most Convenient Airport in the UK and Ireland’ in a study by The Telegraph, and our comprehensive domestic route network operated by Flybe ensures our passengers can easily connect to destinations right across the UK from Inverness to Newquay.”
This news comes hot on the heels of the announcement yesterday that Belfast City Airport has also secured a new route to Palma de Mallorca with Jetsgoholidays – you can view that story HERE.
