The FAA has issued a 'zero tolerance policy' on rowdy passengers

The FAA is cracking down on rowdy passengers with a new ‘zero tolerance policy’.

Under the tough new rules, passengers who become rowdy or argumentative onboard could be hit with fines of up to $35,000 or jail time.

Federal Aviation Administration Chief Steve Dickson said: “We’ve seen a disturbing increase in these incidents…. we’ll take the strongest possible enforcement action against any passenger who engages in it.”
