The Lobby Bar in the Europa Hotel has been completely transformed and the Piano Restaurant has been fitted with new banquette seating enhancing the private dining offering and can also be opened up to increase the capacity of the Piano Lounge by 120 to accommodate the hotel’s popular Afternoon Tea. The Grand Ballroom has been modernised to include stunning mirrored panelling.
James McGinn, General Manager of the Europa Hotel said: “We are thrilled to have recently completed a £500k renovation programme. As part of this, the Lobby Bar has been redesigned with contemporary interiors, luxurious seating, bespoke, statement light fittings and a new kitchen with the capacity increased to accommodate up to 120 guests. It’s now the perfect space for people to enjoy a leisurely bite to eat, drinks on a Friday evening after work or a relaxing Saturday afternoon listening to the live jazz.
Our new executive head chef, Kyle Greer, has created seasonal menus which for the first time in the Europa Hotel includes a sumptuous Tapas offering in the evening. We have also modernised the interior of the Grand Ballroom and added seating and increased the capacity in the Piano Restaurant.”
“The Europa Hotel has an international reputation for hosting prestigious events and looking after many of the celebrities and VIPs who visit Belfast. But to us, every guest is a VIP and we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer service. This was acknowledged this month when we received a British Airways Holidays Customer Excellence Award. These prestigious accolades are presented every year to the leading tour operators top-rated hotels, based entirely on the feedback receive from customers. And I am delighted that the Europa was ranked within the top 3% of their highest-rated hotels for 2018.
It is the ongoing investment from Hastings Hotels that enables us to remain one of the world’s most famous award-winning hotels, renowned for our excellent reputation and hospitality,” James concluded.
