Etihad Give Update on Regional Flight Disruption

Etihad will be resuming a limited commercial flight schedule from 6th March 2026, the airline have stated that guests with previous bookings will be accommodated as soon as possible.

In an updated statement from Etihad, the airline have said that they will be resuming a limited commercial flight schedule from 6th March 2026, the airline have stated that guests with previous bookings will be accommodated as soon as possible.

The airline have highlighted that passengers and members of the public should not travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad or hold a confirmed booking on one of these new flights.

Following Etihad’s coordination with relevant authorities, the decision to operate a limited flight schedule to a number of key destinations has followed extensive safety and security assessments.

The situation remains dynamic and the airline will continue to monitor the situation closely.

In a statement Etihad said, “Changes will be made to existing bookings to accommodate guests on these newly introduced flights. Travel partners are requested to service all affected bookings within 24 hours and to proactively inform customers of any updates to their itineraries.”

The following destinations are scheduled to operate to and from Abu Dhabi between 6 March and 19 March:
