The new app offers a range of options to customers including the ability to book flights, check-in, issue boarding cards as well as check the status of flights.
Ethiopian’s country manager in Ireland, Meseret Tekalign said: “This fits in with our ongoing commitment of offering customers the best user-friendly solutions to enhance their experience of flying with Ethiopian.”
As an incentive to use the app, customers will receive a 10 per cent discount off their booking.
Ethiopian operates four flights per week from Dublin airport to Los Angeles and Dublin to Addis Ababa, their hub and gateway to 55 African and 26 International destinations including Cape Town, Zanzibar, Chengdu, Seychelles and Victoria Falls.
Ethiopian is currently implementing a 15-year strategic plan called Vision 2025 that will see it become the leading aviation group in Africa with seven business centres: Ethiopian Domestic and Regional Airline; Ethiopian International Passenger Airline; Ethiopian Cargo; Ethiopian MRO; Ethiopian Aviation Academy; Ethiopian In-flight Catering Services; and Ethiopian Ground Service. Ethiopian is a multi-award winning airline registering an average growth of 25 per cent in the past seven years.
