Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is launching its new 108-night 'Around the World' voyage, setting sail on Black Watch on January 8, 2021

This enticing cruise will be offered exclusively to Fred. Olsen’s loyalty membership scheme, Oceans, from February 19, 2019, before going on general sale on February 26, 2019.

This stunning global exploration in 2021 will give guests the choice to board from either Southampton or Liverpool – the first time ever that a ‘World Cruise’ has departed from the popular Merseyside port in Fred. Olsen’s history.

Justin Stanton, Sales and Marketing Director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said: “This exceptional ‘Around the World’ sailing, aboard 880-guest Black Watch, will allow guests to explore and enjoy diverse landscapes, cultures and wildlife, right across our magnificent planet.

“And what’s more, guests will be able to return to the ship and refresh themselves in the bar, unwind with a treatment in the Atlantis Spa, or enjoy an action-packed shore excursion, all on Fred. Olsen, with up to £600 per person in free on board spend. We will even pay your tips!

“This inspirational voyage – taken from Fred. Olsen’s eagerly-awaited 2020/21 cruise programme – is particularly exciting, as it is the first time that guests will have the option to set sail on such an epic exploration from Liverpool.

“With scenic cruising, spectacular sights and culture a-plenty, this ‘Around the World’ voyage has all the makings of a truly sensational holiday, sure to create memories to last a lifetime.”

Black Watch’s ‘World Cruise’ in 2021 will set sail first to Portugal, with visits to Oporto, from Leixões, home of the world-famous wine cellars and delicious Port wine, and the stunning ‘Garden Island’ of Madeira, before moving to the Canary Islands and onto the sun-kissed sandy beaches of the Caribbean.

If exploring the paradise islands of Bora Bora and Fiji, travelling over the Gatun Lake – considered to be one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Modern World’ – and visiting the world’s largest Buddhist temple in Borobudur, Java are not enough, holidaymakers will also get the chance to take in nine Pacific islands, a ‘Down Under’ discovery in Australia, and four maiden calls – including in Fakarava, French Polynesia, and Surabaya, in Java, Indonesia – whilst sailing in the style and comfort of Fred. Olsen’s classic ‘Black Watch’.
